Lowest Taxes East Bay

Since January 1, BPG has been working closely with Berkeley city officials to effectively lower the recreational cannabis tax rate from 10% to 5%.


Beginning today, March 29, we are extremely proud to offer our members the lowest cannabis tax rates in the East Bay!


Over the next few weeks, we will be making changes to include the 15% excise tax in the price of each product. This will ultimately result in even lower prices for you!


While we believe this is an incredible start, our fight is not over. Please join our efforts in creating a cannabis community that serves everyone.


Contact your representative and tell them to support AB 3157. This will lower the excise tax on cannabis from 15% to 11%, and suspend the cultivation tax for the next 3 years.
